Don’t Miss the Spicy Miso Ramen at Tora Ramen

Spicy miso. Black garlic. Shoyu wadashi. While the menu at Tora Ramen is relatively brief, flavors like these still manage to make it quite varied. So far, the most popular type of ramen at the newly opened eatery is the spicy miso. A heat pervades the broth, which teems with wavy yellow noodles torched pork belly, corn, scallions, and butter.

If you’re craving something milder, try the black garlic tonkotsu ramen. It’s a twist on traditional tonkotsu (which is also on the menu), featuring white noodles with pork belly, nori, and a handful of other traditional ingredients. The shoyu wadashi ramen showcases the same yellow noodles as the spicy miso, but complemented by sous vide tori chashu. Add an app like seaweed salad or edamame to complete your Tora ramen experience. You can dine in (the tables are separated by plexiglass) or grab food to go. Note that Tora Ramen only accepts cash.
