Champagne High: Recap of Our Penthouse Sneak Peak
The excitement and champagne were bubbling on Thursday, June 26, as we unveiled the Kensington’s new penthouse suites. Somehow they turned out even more dazzling than we’d hoped — a sentiment shared by the 140+ friends who turned out to toast them with us.
Residents, guests and Kensington staff made their way up to the 27th floor, where original artwork greeted us in the corridors. The weather cooperated beautifully, and visitors sipped cocktails as they took in a range of gorgeous cityscape views.
An array of floor plans showcased our talented designers’ most impressive work yet. Features exclusive to the penthouses include nine-foot ceilings and windows, French door GE refrigerators and bedrooms outfitted with California Closets’ Tesoro Collection. The sense of uniqueness from one apartment to the next continues in the wide range of paint colors from which penthouse residents can choose.
The festivities continued back down on the sixth floor, where guests lingered by the pool, played billiards and relaxed in the lounge. We all enjoyed the delicious food and indulged ourselves at the bar. It truly was a great event, made even better because we got to share an evening at “Club Kensington” with such good friends, old and new.
