Mooncusser Embraces the Art of New England Seafood

Mooncusser debuted a few months ago in a quintessential red-brick Boston building in the Back Bay, with Moon Bar on the first floor and the airy dining room upstairs. The large windows in the main dining area allow guests to gaze out across Boston as they enjoy upscale American seafood and artfully crafted desserts.

Start your dinner with a hot bowl of the signature Mooncusser chowder, filled with clams, smoked scallops, and skate. Or opt for the scallop tartare with corn, purslane, and truffle oil. Make sure that you save adequate room for the main course, however. Options range from grilled tuna with walnuts, peaches, and wild rice to skate stuffed with lobster, chard, and baby carrots. There are also a few meat-free and seafood-free entrees. To cap off your meal, savor the frozen lemon meringue with blueberries, crunchy graham cracker crumbs, and a drizzle of white chocolate.
