The Holiday Season Isn’t Complete Without the Boston Ballet’s ‘The Nutcracker’
If you’ve been to a Boston Ballet performance before, you know how incredible and inspiring they are. As you watch the dancers float across the stage, you’ll feel every move through the music and passion you see on the stage. This is why the Boston Ballet’s The Nutcracker is a not-to-be-missed part of the holiday season. Not only is this age-old story a staple in any good holiday celebration, but the ballet company we have right in our backyard is also one of the best in the nation which makes this version of The Nutcracker oh so special!
Check out some of the fun facts behind the scenes of the production before you go and you’ll be even more impressed. Did you know that over 150 dancers and over 240 local Boston Ballet Dance School students make up the cast, or that all the sets were painted by hand? So impressive!
The show runs from the end of November through December 29th at the Boston Opera House, so grab your tickets before the season ends.
