ZooLights at the Stone Zoo: A Holiday Tradition Returns Near The Kensington

If there’s one light show that you won’t want to miss this holiday season, it’s the extra festive ZooLights at the Stone Zoo! The exhibition is a special after-hours event at the zoo that runs through Jan. 9 from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily. We mention that because it’s important to know that tickets for the zoo and the event are separate, and they close in between the end of the zoo open hours and the start of the light show. So, maybe plan two different days for the different activities!

For the ZooLights event, the zoo’s lovely exhibits are connected with festive lights displays that play off the zoo’s wild ambiance. It’s a one-way route to help control some traffic, and ensure no little ones are left behind. Plus, it makes it easier to meet all the furry friends along the way. After the light show, take a moonlit carousel ride or a Jungle Fun ride for a perfect close to the evening!

If you want your little ones to meet Mrs. Claus, visit on Tuesdays as she makes her appearance from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. for one night a week only!
